why we do it

the name ‘superfreako’ is an irreverent play on ‘Kukahiko’, the surname of two of the three founders of superfreako productions. ‘Kukahiko’ is Hawaiian for ‘stand in the old ways’ and both this meaning and the Hawaiian ancestry of all three of the founders is something we hold sacred – each for our own individual reasons and express in our ways.

one thing we agree on however is that we are each representatives of our homeland, and therefore everything we do should make the world a better place. every life we touch should be improved by our contact, and every piece we create should have a positive message and powerful effect.

that is the founding philosophy of superfreako productions.
